On February 3, 2024, from 11 am to 12.30 pm, the Executive MBA (EMBA) program successfully held another Corporate Masterclass ECAP session, titled "Exploring Insights on Business Opportunities and Climate Changeā, by Guest Speaker Mr Vikram Krishna.
Vikram Krishna is the co-founder of Sacred Groves, a Community Interest Company dedicated to safeguarding forests and natural habitats worldwide. With over three decades of experience in corporate leadership roles at prestigious companies such as Emirates NBD, HSBC, and Citi, he has excelled in areas including marketing, customer experience enhancement, sales, brand consolidation, and sustainable business development. He is a sought after speaker at global events and conferences, including the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity and the Fast Company Summit, where he highlights the urgent need for climate action.
The session was attended by EMBA students from both the Dubai on-campus and ME OL Batches, with some travelling to the Dubai Campus to participate in person.
During his presentation, Mr Krishna shared valuable insights on climate change and highlighted several untapped business opportunities whilst engaging the audience with an interactive group activity that also encouraged students to brainstorm and develop relevant business ideas.
At the conclusion of the session, Dean Gary shared key leadership insights with the students, emphasising the importance of addressing climate change as a critical leadership responsibility.
