Learning sustainable business practices – BBA students visit Tata Power

SP Jain School of Global Management’s Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) students in Mumbai visited the Tata Power plant to learn first-hand how the company implements sustainable business practices. The industrial visit, held on January 25, 2020, was part of the Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility course and a Global Learning activity organised by Prof Shrinivas Shikaripurkar (Adjunct Faculty, SP Jain).

SP Jain students emerge as champions at the NTU MBA Olympics 2020

We are proud to share that SP Jain School of Global Management’s MBA team emerged as the Overall Champion at the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) MBA Olympics 2020 held in Singapore on January 19, 2020. The team competed against several universities including NTU, National University of Singapore (NUS), ESSEC Business School and Singapore Management University (SMU), winning multiple gold medals in Badminton, Track, Table Tennis, Football and Swimming.

Students say no to plastic: Jaguars urge academic community in Dubai

According to a leading market research company, YouGov MENA, in 2018, “Plastic pollution is not just a hazard to public health but also a severe threat to the oceans and marine life. Recent reports show that 8.3 billion tonnes of plastic was produced in the UAE alone last year. Despite the government’s widespread efforts to solve this problem, there is low awareness among the masses.” The Sustainability & CSR student club at SP Jain School of Global Management’s Dubai campus initiated an anti-plastic drive on November 5, 2019, generating awareness and encouraging students, staff and the academic community to Reduce, Reuse and Recycle plastic – the 3 Rs of plastic usage.
