SP JAIN'S EVENTS

On 18^th January, 2025, SP Jain School of Global Management hosted a special celebration aboard the Queen Elizabeth 2 (QE2) in Dubai to mark 20 years of academic excellence and global impact. The event brought together alumni, faculty, and industry leaders to reflect on the institution’s journey, recognise outstanding contributions, and look ahead to the future.

The evening began with a lively networking and photo session, where alumni reconnected, sharing stories of their time at SP Jain and their professional journeys. Dr. Christopher Abraham, CEO & Head of Campus, officially opened the event with a welcome address, reflecting on the institution’s achievements over the past two decades. A specially curated alumni video followed, featuring heartfelt messages from graduates who shared how SP Jain shaped their careers and perspectives.

SP Jain’s President, Nitish Jain, then addressed the audience, emphasising the school’s continued focus on innovation, technology, and experiential learning. His speech set the stage for an insightful keynote address by Tariq Qureishy, CEO & Founder of Xponential Group, who spoke about the evolving business landscape and the role of leadership in the digital age.

One of the most anticipated moments of the evening was the Alumni Awards Recognition, honouring graduates who have made a significant impact in their industries and communities. The awards highlighted the diverse and influential roles SP Jain alumni play across global markets, underscoring the school’s far-reaching impact.

On 6^th December, SP Jain Dubai recently hosted the Business Ethics & Sustainability competition for its postgraduate students, providing them with a platform to explore and address critical sustainability challenges in today’s business landscape.

On 9^th October 2024, the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) September 2023 cohort visited Marmum Dairy Farm, a leading dairy producer in the UAE, as part of their hands-on learning experience. This trip offered students firsthand insights into large-scale dairy operations.

On Thursday, 3^rd October 2024, SP Jain Dubai, in collaboration with The Young Vision, UAE’s leading higher education magazine, hosted the region’s biggest inter-school Business Challenge Cup 2024.

On 6th September 2024, SP Jain’s Master of Global Business (MGB) students from the February 2024 cohort had the opportunity to visit the DHL Logistics Warehouse in Dubai. The visit was a part of their Warehouse Management course, offering a unique, hands-on learning experience that connected theoretical concepts with real-world logistics operations.

The Executive MBA (EMBA) team recently hosted an online event for its students, featuring esteemed alumni who shared their entrepreneurial journeys. The event, titled 'The Journey: Being an Entrepreneur,' took place on Saturday, September 23, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Over 115 EMBA students from the Middle East Online and Dubai On-campus Face-to-Face Batches participated in this enriching experience.
