Ekta Sinha (EMBA - Manager Professional Development, ECAP, SP Jain School of Global Management) was awarded the third place for her co-authored conference paper titled “Post-COVID-19 Online Assessment Vows: An Exploration of Potential Merits, Barriers, and Solutions.”
She received this recognition at the online event held at the Indian Institute of Management Indore (IIMI) in association with Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), Germany, on April 16 & 17, 2022.
The theme of the conference was “COVID 19: Learning and Implications for Management”.
Sharing the objective of her research paper, Ms Sinha said, “The theme of the IIMI-GIZ conference was very relevant. However, addressing the usual was not enough. Recently, there has been a lot of reporting and discussion on students' reluctance to appear for offline assessments across institutes and universities. This seemed to be an apt area to focus and address.”
She further added, “We explored this in our paper, and the outcome was satisfactory as it got accepted in the coveted IIMI-GIZ Germany conference. But the surprise unfolded at the valedictory function, where the paper was named amongst the top three. This was truly a validation to the hard work which went behind shaping up the research. Extremely thankful!”
