Extract from the paper:
The research survey included 126 University teachers from different public and private Universities operating in the United Arab Emirates. The results demonstrate that PowerPoint presentations and videos are still dominant in the learning process. 100% of the respondents use PowerPoint presentation, while 95% of them use videos in the learning process. Mobile devices and applications, social media, simulations and e-portfolio became significantly present in the teaching process – more than 2/3 of the respondents use these tools. However, they are less present than PowerPoint presentations and videos.
