On 26th November, SP Jain Singapore's global learning team hosted Spectra 2024, celebrating Culture, Fun, and Fusion. The two-day event, led by the BBA student council and club presidents, brought the school community together and promoted creativity, cultural exploration, and collaboration.
On 26th November, SP Jain Singapore's global learning team hosted Spectra 2024, celebrating Culture, Fun, and Fusion. The two-day event, led by the BBA student council and club presidents, brought the school community together and promoted creativity, cultural exploration, and collaboration.
The first day started with a welcome address from Prof Golo Weber, Assistant Dean - Undergraduate Programs (Singapore) and student council President SM Tafrid, followed by a dance performance by the Dance Club. Food stalls offered a culinary journey with traditional Peru, India, and the Philippines delicacies. Attendees participated in the Culture Trivia Quiz, testing their knowledge of global traditions and history while enjoying activities like carnival games and a fun photobooth.
The second day featured a fashion show competition celebrating cultural diversity through bold, creative designs. Attendees enjoyed a culinary journey with flavours from Vietnam and Hong Kong, while dance performances, lively music acts, and games kept the excitement high. The tug-of-war competition strengthened teamwork, while the ice cream, candy floss, and satay stalls added extra fun and treats.
To conclude, Spectra 2024 brought the community together to celebrate cultural diversity and promote teamwork and joy.
