SP Jain School of Global Management’s Centre for Research in Global Business Learning organised its inaugural Business Case Study Competition in collaboration with Monash University, one of the top universities in Australia.
The finale was held on May 23, 2022, and the theme of the competition was ‘Understanding the Emerging Trends in Circular Economy and its Impact on Global Businesses’. Seven student teams from SP Jain’s Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Economics (BEC), Master of Global Business (MGB), Global MBA (GMBA) and Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) programs competed for the coveted prize money and an opportunity to receive mentorship from senior faculty to publish their case studies.

The event was organised by faculty mentors – Dr Arumugam Seetharaman, Dr John Lodewijks, Dr Veena Jadhav and Dr Koilakuntla Maddulety – and program co-ordinator Sanjivi Raorane.
Speaking about the event, Dr Veena Jadhav shared, “It is our privilege to conduct the inaugural Business Case Study competition of Centre for Global Business Learning in collaboration with Prof Amrik Sohal, Monash University. The theme of ‘Understanding the Emerging Trends in Circular Economy and its Impact on Business’ appealed to students across our campuses and programs, resulting in excellent participation of student teams who presented a wide range of innovative ideas. We look forward to continuing this initiative with support from our faculty and students.”
