As the first speaker of the evening and Project Head at SME Centre@SICCI, Mr. Rasheed shared insights on the government assistance and schemes available for aspiring entrepreneurs and startups. With Singapore's ecosystem being ranked first in the world for Startup Talent, Mr. Rasheed said, "I had the pleasure of being the first ever SP Jain student speaker at the Alumni Xpressions Talk. The evening had allowed me to share more on the countless resources here in Singapore for entrepreneurs to tap into, such as the SME Centre@SICCI. The centre is always open for discussions and I would strongly encourage business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs to connect with us to discuss the various assistance programs available.”
Conversations continued with the second presentation by Mr. Priveen Raj Naidu, who was recently featured in The New Paper, a Singaporean newspaper, where he had mentioned his participation in SP Jain’s Xpressions event. In fact, Mr. Naidu was also part of the startup team which had set up AirAsia Singapore and he elaborated on his life experiences, struggles and resolutions. Guests were thoroughly engaged as the event concluded with an interactive networking session.
