On 18th September 2024, Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) students from SP Jain participated in a unique learning experience that combined sport and professional development. The Golf Clinic learning activity, held at the Singapore Golf Course, provided students with an opportunity to enhance both their golfing skills and networking abilities.
Golf has long been recognised as more than just a sport in the business world, serving as a platform for professionals to discuss ideas, negotiate deals, and expand their networks in a relaxed setting. Under the guidance of experienced instructors, students were introduced to the fundamentals of golf, including proper swing techniques, putting skills, and course etiquette. These lessons not only improved their golfing abilities but also instilled confidence in navigating social situations on the green.
As students practiced their swings and putts, they also engaged in casual conversations with peers, allowing them to practice initiating and maintaining professional conversations, and begin building their professional networks.
