Prof Christopher Abraham, Professor and Head of Campus (Dubai), SP Jain School of Global Management, was recently interviewed on Dubai TV, a channel offered by the Dubai Media Incorporated in the Arab World, Australia, Europe, North America and the rest of Asia, where he spoke about SP Jain’s international students with a specific focus on the Chinese.
The interviewer was keen on knowing the criteria for the selection of international students for which Prof Abraham shared that they must be smart and intelligent with effective communication skills.
Speaking about Dubai being the preferred education destination for Chinese students, Prof Abraham pointed out the large Chinese community living in Dubai, especially at the International City, China Cluster. He also noted the presence of Dragon Mart, which is the largest Chinese market outside of China. Prof Abraham shared that every year a good percentage of Chinese students choose to join SP Jain School of Global Management’s Undergraduate, Postgraduate and MBA programs.
He highlighted how our students get holistic training on key management concepts along with training on smart skills and global intelligence. This well-rounded education prepares them for any kind of global challenges. Many international students, including Chinese, choose Dubai as a destination for employment because of the large number of international companies, the wide lifestyle choices and the reasonable tax environment.
